It's time for some Proper Cross!

Autumn is here, the sun is waning, the rain is coming and the temperature is dropping. We are now getting to “Proper Cross” time. New boy Lee Kidger jumped off his Zwift bike and into some Cross racing with both feet in the Notts and Derby CX League. After a week of rain, the course was soft, slippery and hard work. Just how we like it. Safe to say Lee set all kinds of new personal Heart Rate records as he found out how hard Cross actually is. Welcome to the world of mud and well done for signing up for next week already!

Talking of Cross, Molly and Alex are at CC Ashwell Cross in Stevenage tomorrow. It’s a great fast technical course with hopefully plenty of mud. Looking forward to some cracking images. Good luck and keep the TPH Racing flag flying.

All this talk of Cross doesn’t mean other racing is not going on. To be fair though the TT’ers have actually hung up their Aero kit and lit their log fires but the rest of the team are still at it… Tomorrow, Adam and Keeds twin up on the their Lapierre Aircodes for what looks like yet another wet Road Race. This time the Maldon 3/4 RR with the hope of trying bag some points for Adam to nudge him towards his 2nd Cat. Rob is still Zwifting away, gradually making progress to 100 races and “sandbagging” in the B’s trying to avoid the inevitable of upgrade to A as his form continues to improve. It won’t be long now!

Good luck racers!
