The Pedal House is a small family run business in the heart of the Suffolk countryside in the beautiful market town of Hadleigh.

Our focus is on good quality products and excellent customer service. We believe our customers should enjoy their bike buying experience and believe that the only way our customers choose the right bike is to see it, touch it and ride it.

With this in mind we always welcome people into our store and would love the opportunity to talk to you about our shared passion - cycling.

Hadleigh, Suffolk

Hadleigh is a small and charming market town in Suffolk with some wonderful history and architecture. The high street is lined with a wide variety of individual shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Located just 10 miles west of Ipswich, 14 miles south of Stowmarket and 15 miles north of Colchester you won't go short of places to go and see along your journey to visit us at The Pedal House.

There are many places to stay in Hadleigh and the surrounding areas, ranging from 5* hotels, B&B's and holiday cottages.

Parking

Short stay parking in Hadleigh is free, but limited to 3 hours’ stay and a ticket must be displayed. Long stay car parks are in Magdalen Road (Angel Street end) and Stonehouse Road off George Street.

What to do

Cycling

Hadleigh lies on the Cycle South Suffolk route as well as the National Cycle Route 1. Visit www.sustrans.org.uk for a map of national routes.

Walking

There are numerous public footpaths throughout the town, many taking in the beauty of the River Brett. The Railway Walk takes you down approximately 2 miles (3km) of railway line, disused since the early sixties, from Hadleigh to Raydon.

Shopping

Hadleigh High Street is full of interesting shops, most of them independently owned. Friday morning is market day in the Market Place offering a variety of stalls including fresh fruit & vegetables, fish, cheese and flowers among others.

Where to eat

Hadleigh has a variety of places to eat, ranging from pubs, restaurants and Deli's. There is something for all tastes and budgets. Most are conveniently located on the High Street including The Kings Head, The George, The Hadleigh Ram, The Royal Bengal (Indian cuisine) and Ferguson’s (Deli).
